Notta Pro’s 1,800 monthly minutes and 100 uploads are useful comparison units for frequent transcription. Translation can add cost, so price the exact language workflow rather than assuming it is bundled. The free offer has separate limits. Dictaria’s planned Pro allowance is measured in cloud hours and includes Coach; transcription volume alone does not make these equivalent feature packages.

Privacy: where the audio and text go
Notta Desktop Privacy Mode is a specific local option: its files stay local and cloud sync and cloud AI are unavailable in that mode. Do not apply that promise to ordinary Notta cloud use. Dictaria also separates local speech recognition from account and AI behavior, but its signed-in local mode still saves transcript text. Compare modes directly, not just the word “local.”
Bot-free capture does not guarantee local processing. Likewise, a no-training promise does not mean meeting content is never stored. These rows describe published policies, not an independent security audit.

Test the language combination, not the language count
A broad advertised list tells you little about your actual meeting. Include names, specialist vocabulary, accents, and any language switching in a short evaluation recording.
